Meet Heidi Smith

 

My first job was in an office at 12 years old. I was the office “gopher” I made coffee, answered the phones, sorted the mail, did the filing etc. I will always remember the freedom of my first pay cheque. I made my own money which meant that I could buy my own clothes for school rather than have my mother decide my wardrobe. Ever since that job my work has been administrative in one form or another. From hospitality and retail to sales and management and finally my last job as a licensed assistant, every position required paperwork, people skills and organization.

For me listening is the most important part of any project from paperwork to client communications. Time and attention are the keys for successful relationships and service.

Today I have my own business “In Your Corner Virtual Assistant Services” where my talents and sense of ownership serve my clients. My intention here is to support the busy entrepreneurs I so admire to let go of their office work and focus on what they love doing.
